This is how much you should place on a bet

Not every bet should be treated the same. Straight bets and parlays carry different levels of risk. That's why I don't size them the same way. Most of my exposure goes toward straight bets, while parlays get a smaller fraction of a unit. The goal isn't to maximize one bet.
